I originally made these for my roommates, who were constantly cleaning their faces with alcohol and cotton balls. I was worried about the chemical content of most of the store bought brands and had enough of the smell, so I decided to make my own.!
The astringent itself is made from:
Essential oils of Lavender, Cypress and Vitamin E.
Aloe Vera
Rose Water
Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Apple Cider Vinegar
and a trace amount of Witch Hazel
This solution will not dry out your skin, but will leave you feeling clean and rejuvenated.
The cleansing pads are soaked in the solution, then squeezed until damp to avoid dripping while you’re on the go. You can throw them in your school tote or purse and go about your day without anyone noticing the smell (of alcohol, anyway. These smell fresh!)
First orders will come in the jars, where as repeat orders will come in more practical containers (so not to waste). They come with roughly 40 pads.
